Partners Leads Field Session at National Preservation Conference

Christ Church Lutheran, Minneapolis, MN in 1949

Plan to spend time with Partners for Sacred Places this fall at the National Preservation Conference.  The annual conference, hosted by The National Trust for Historic Preservation, is in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, Minneapolis and St. Paul, from October 2-6.

Partners is conducting a field session of two New Dollars/New Partners graduates and a Partners-consulted religious building.  The tour includes Christ Lutheran Church on Capitol Hill in St. Paul, Christ Church Lutheran in Minneapolis, and restoration success story Redeemer Missionary Baptist Church in Minneapolis.  The four-hour session ends with a reception in Christ Church Lutheran’s Eero Saarinen-designed education wing.  Sessions are offered October 2 and 4.

The conference is open to professionals in preservation and allied fields, dedicated volunteers, and serious supporters throughout the country.
