WHALE (Waterfront Historic Area LeaguE) and its partners are sponsoring a daylong workshop, Preserving Religious Properties: A Practical Workshop for Caretakers of Older and Historic Churches and Synagogues, featuring training on fundraising for the repair and restoration of religious buildings, as well as on conducting building assessments, prioritizing repairs, and making buildings more energy efficient.

Partners’ President, Bob Jaeger, will deliver the keynote address, The Halo Effect of Sacred Places:  Preserving Architecture and Community Value, which will offer inspirational and practical proven ideas for congregations and parishes.
