Overview of Evaluation Findings (2003-2005)
Other Key Findings
- Two-thirds of all congregations are developing new or deeper community partnerships.
- One-quarter are already making progress on longer-term coals such as finding new funding to support their sacred places.
- New Dollars/New Partners benefits congregations of all sizes and all locales (city, suburban, small town and rural). Size is not a factor in the congregation's ability to achieve outcomes.
- The congregational team's composition is less of a factor for success than the team members' commitment to participate fully in the program.
- Those congregations that completed assigned tasks during or shortly after the training were more likely to have make progress toward longer-term goals.
